UST Tracker ("the app") is an internal tool operated by US Techs for its own ground-support-equipment (GSE)
operations. It is provided to authorized US Techs personnel on company-managed devices and requires a
company-issued login. This policy explains what the app collects and how it is used.
Information we collect
Precise location (GPS), including in the background. While an operator starts tracking for
an assigned tug, the app records the device's location, speed, and heading. Background collection is used so a
tug's position keeps reporting while the operator is working and the app is not in the foreground.
Equipment assignment. The tug/equipment number the operator selects.
Account identifier. The US Techs ERP username used to sign in (for authentication only).
The app does not collect contacts, photos, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or any data unrelated to
tug operations.
How we use it
To display live equipment positions to US Techs dispatch and reconstruct trip history for operational and
safety purposes (replacing the prior third-party telematics system).
To associate location reports with the correct tug and shift.
How it is stored and shared
Location and event data is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to US Techs' own operations
system and stored on US Techs-controlled infrastructure.
We do not sell this data and do not share it with third parties. It is used
solely for internal US Techs operations.
Data retention
Location and event records are retained in the US Techs operations system per company data-retention practices
and deleted or archived thereafter.
Your choices
Location is only collected while an operator has started tracking; stopping tracking ends collection.
Because devices and accounts are company-managed, requests to access or delete records associated with an
account should be directed to the contact below.
